GOODBYE, 2010...

My goal in 2010 was to be a man of few words and many pictures. It was a satisfying year of comics for me, with three books coming out (go look it up, it's true), and an AMAZING response to my blog-vomit. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to look, and especially to those that took more time to point it out to the rest of the world (tumblr, you're my new best friend). You are amazing! I'll try to say even less this year...

Thanks for checking in, I'll try and make this year better than the last...

Pound for pound this blog is the best one I've happened upon in all 2010. Great work, thoroughly entertaining.

Look forward to more from ya Dan!

Excellent work, man. You're a huge inspiration.

One question, though: how do you work around selling your artwork even though they're based on copyrighted works? I've got a few illustrations based on horror films but I don't think I'd be able to make prints because of the whole copyright thing.

So when is GYAKUSHU! #3 coming out? And the HC edition collecting all 3???

Thanks, everyone, it's been a fun year!

Jonathan: Yeah, that's pretty much the reason I'm not selling prints too. Otherwise, they're just pictures I'm drawing for myself that other people happen to buy. The copyright holders could raise a fuss if they wanted, but it's not really different than doing a commission based on a copyrighted work...

Dogboy443: No HC collection in the near-future, but you can order Vol3 through Tokyopop (follow the link on the sidebar of the blog)...

Thanks again!

Ah, that makes sense! Thanks for the tip, man. Maybe I'll see if I can sell the originals, in that case.

Keep up the good work, man!
